Autumn Brown

Autumn Brown is a mother, artist, and facilitator, whose organizing is rooted in Black feminist and fugitive freedom movements. She was a founding member of the Rock Dove Collective, a radical community health exchange active in New York City from 2006-2012, and she has spent over 20 years organizing for healing justice, facilitating movement strategy, and training organizers in consensus process, facilitation, and racial justice. Autumn is a 2020 Auburn Seminary Lives of Commitment Honoree and recipient of the 2025 Margaret Brent Award. She is a speculative fiction and creative non-fiction writer, a musician, and co-host of the podcast How to Survive the End of the World. She lives on Dakota land in Minneapolis with her three children and beloved community.
