Julie Novas, JD, LCSW

Julie Novas is an ordained interfaith minister, social worker, holistic liberation-based psychotherapist, attorney, adjunct assistant professor, meditation teacher, and executive consultant. Since 2008, she has practiced as a social worker, integrating decolonization, spirituality, popular education, contemplative practices, somatics, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support the liberation of individuals, groups, communities and organizations. Julie holds a Juris Doctor from CUNY School of Law with a concentration in community and economic development, a Master of Social Work from SUNY Stony Brook as a Distinguished Dr. W. Burghardt Turner Fellow, and a Bachelor of Science from NYU. Julie’s deepest aspiration is that all beings be free from suffering, its causes and conditions.
