Elise Tosatti, MUP

Program Director

Elise Tosatti works to build capacity for compassionate, community-centered social and behavioral health care. She is interested in experiential learning, multidisciplinary thinking, and participatory methods that help strengthen our collective capacities for healing and belonging. As the Academy’s Director, Elise oversees strategy, program development, implementation, and budget. Prior to joining CUNY SPS, Elise managed the implementation of Connections to Care (C2C), an NYC initiative that partnered community organizations and behavioral health providers to advance more accessible and effective care models. Elise has 16+ years of experience in NYC non-profit and government organizations, including advocacy, harm reduction, supportive housing, program design, and implementation. She is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) and a Level II Certified Compassion-Based Resilience Training (CBRT) Teacher through the Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science. Elise holds a Master of Urban Planning from Hunter College.
