This course draws on cutting edge research from psychology and neuroscience to develop simple practices that can help you to stay grounded and centered during uncertain and difficult times.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Participants will:

  • Increase awareness of stress and mental health concerns
  • Build knowledge of positive coping strategies
  • Learn specific practices and strategies to feel less overwhelmed and more focused

WHAT TO EXPECT

This session includes a presentation of relevant information and research and a discussion on how to create a good routine to support positive mental health. We invite your ideas about helpful and unhelpful coping strategies.

ELIGIBILITY

This course is open to staff of any non-profit community organization or government agency that delivers social services in NYC.
