Working with Dreams

DESCRIPTION

This dream workshop will allow participants to explore their dreams as guides to resolving complex issues and collective intergenerational connection. We will explore the profound ways in which dreams can inform and transform our lives. Participants will be guided through a dream and learn the tools to unpack the dream and build a greater connection.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Participants will:

  • Explore dreams as guides for resolving complexities
  • Identify the dimensions of dreams – including the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual from an indigenous lens
  • Learn essential tools to explore dreams with their clients

WHAT TO EXPECT

This is an interactive course and participants are expected to take part in exercises and talk about their own experiences from an embodied place. There will be large group discussions and breakout rooms. We ask that learners keep their cameras on for the session. Participants will need to bring paper, markers, or crayons.

Capacity for this course is limited to 40 learners to support meaningful interaction with the instructors and group sharing.

ELIGIBILITY

This course is open to staff of any non-profit community organization or government agency that delivers social services in NYC.
