Cheryl Walpole Tiku LPC, LCAT, LPAT, ATR-BC

Cheryl Walpole Tiku is a mindfulness-based art therapist and mental health consultant with extensive experience in grief and loss. She has supported children, families, and professionals through her private practice and earlier work at the Harlem Children’s Zone, helping people navigate death, ambiguous loss, burnout, and major life transitions.

She is the founder of Artieve, a digital platform that provides self-guided art therapy tools to support individuals and organizations navigating grief and loss. Cheryl also writes mental health content, blending creativity and clinical expertise to make support more accessible and human-centered.

Her early clinical career included work at Bellevue Hospital and New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She has also developed art therapy programs in Namibia and Jordan, experiences that shaped her contributions as a Fulbright Specialist. Cheryl is licensed in NY, NJ, and TX.
