Jess Trane, LCSW

Jess Trane is a licensed clinical social worker with more than a decade of experience working with adolescents and adults navigating mental health challenges and concerns like homelessness, involvement in the criminal justice or foster care systems, and navigating high school and post-secondary institutions. Currently, Jess provides therapy as a private practice clinician where she works with a diverse array of clients and she works as consultant and trainer on topics including trauma-informed care, effective and meaningful supervision, and motivational interviewing. She has served as an adjunct professor in New York University's Applied Psychology Department and provided training for organizations like The ASPCA, Henry Street Settlement, and more. She is passionate about working with both individuals and organizations to develop interventions that build on existing strengths to develop meaningful and lasting learning and change. Jess is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) and holds an MSW from Hunter College.
